Renowned local artist Percy Fortini-Wright adorned the footbridge over Rt 9 in Brookline Village, for the final event of ArtsBrookline., prior to its demolishion on Oct 10.

The underside of the eastbound section of the route 9 bridge, which served as a bus stop, became a fascinating " trompe d'oil" walk-in art gallery depicting Brookline scenes spray painted onto the concrete walls.
Percy let his imagination run wild on one side of the bridge spray painting a zebra protruding out of a typical Brookline apartment building on legs!
